My Trip to the Northeast

Trip to the Northeast

A couple weeks ago my grandparents, my little cousin and I went on vacation. We went up to the Northeast. My grandma is not the type to eat lot of sugar but this trip she overloaded.

Trip to the Northeast

My little cousin is only six so my grandma made her order off the kids menu and almost every meal came with a huge ice cream and sometimes we got to share, it was so awesome.

Trip to the Northeast
It took a good two days & nights to get to Cape Cod and of course we had to eat, so we ate.
The first restaurant we eat at was called ”Frank’s Pizza, Pasta & Subs” and it was so good. My grandmother and I shared a veggie calzone and it was delicious. It had roasted red bell peppers, spinach, mozzarella and it was absolutely wonderful.

The next place we ate at was Apple Valley Restaurant. There we had a Brusheta chicken. In it was chicken, lettuce, tomato, and a balsamic dressing. Also, I had a delicious New England clam chowder. I think I can honestly say it was the best soup I’ve ever had. It was creamy and it had bits of clams in every bite. The clams were tender and not chewy at all, they were marvelous.
Remember when I told you that almost all of the kid’s meals came with ice cream well we found a really cute ice cream shop. It was called Milford Dairy Bar. There we had the most delicious homemade chocolate ice cream. It was sweet but not to sweet and rich but not to rich. It was amazing.
Over all the trip was amazing. The food was great and he people were so nice and I think I would love to go back one day.
