This is my second time making beef jerky! The dehydrator was a birthday gift and I love it. Last time I used way too much of the cure on the meat but it was still good. It was just a bit salty.
I got the top round from the DeKalb Farmer’s Market.
I got this beef jerky cure from my local butcher shop. They are the best.
I set the dehydrator at 160 degrees and it usually takes around 14 hours.
Beef jerky never lasts for very long at our house! Get it before it’s gone!
Dehydrating foods is easy and they all turn out tasty. Try homemade fruit roll-ups also!
