Yesterday I went to the DeKalb Farmer’s Market. We got all sorts of weird things like sugar cane and spaghetti squash. I have always wanted to cook spaghetti squash but it’s never been a our local grocery store. Then my mom heard of the DeKalb Farmer’s Market.
When we brought the spaghetti squash home I really wanted it for dinner so I tried to cut it open and it’s armor like skin did not want to be pierced. So like all normal people do when they can’t figure out how to do something, we looked it up.
All you have to do is cut a dotted line all the way around the squash with the tip of your knife then cut it open. Clean out the seeds and place the squash face down on a pan.
Then you want to set your oven to 375 and bake for forty minutes.
Take out all of your yummy squash flavored pasta toss with olive oil, salt and any sauce you want and enjoy.
